Investigo Executive has announced the appointment of Natalie Whittlesey as its new Director. Joining the business after two years as Area Leader of Korn Ferry’s EMEA Technology Officers Practice, Whittlesey will now help to lead the development of Investigo Group’s growing executive brand.
With two decades’ experience in senior specialist technology recruitment, Whittlesey has extensive knowledge of hiring tech leaders for businesses in a variety of sectors, including high-growth startups, global super-brands and public and not-for-profit organisations. Her role will involve strengthening Investigo Executive’s brand equity, leading Investigo’s CIO practice and helping to develop the Definia brand.
Matt Smith, Chief Revenue Officer, said: “This is a significant step forward in Investigo Executive’s ambitions of becoming a world class challenger executive brand. Natalie joins with a wealth of experience having designed, built, and run the CIO practice and many of the CIO studies at Harvey Nash for over a decade, before moving to Korn Ferry as a leader in their CIO business. Her considerable network and long-term focus on the technology and digital world mean she’s well-connected to top talent, aware of the latest trends in tech, and understands the nuances of the plethora of technology roles, both established and emerging.”
Investigo Executive is the group’s executive search, functional leadership, interim and advisory business. Its dedicated partners provide talent at board and leadership level and its advisory and NED practice connects clients with the leading minds in the industry.
As well as strengthening Investigo Executive’s brand equity through its internal and external communications and wider marketing strategy, Whittlesey will also aim to develop the group’s CIO practice. Smith continued: “Given Natalie’s track record and background she will also head up our CIO practice by winning retained C-tech leadership assignments and developing our brand in this space. She will equally take a lead in creating frameworks with C-level wins that produce cascade-down opportunities.”
In a triple-pronged role working across the group, Whittlesey will also support the evolution of its consulting brand, Definia, through her engagement with the C-tech community.
Whittlesey said: “I’m delighted to have joined this exciting, growing business and to have the opportunity to provide my expertise across the group. As Head of the CIO practice, I’ll be helping our clients to identify top technology and digital leaders to help them reach new heights. In addition, I’ll work with my tech, digital and change colleagues to help technology leaders build great teams, introducing our Definia and Caraffi solutions. As Director of Investigo Executive, I’ll work with the broader Investigo Executive team to supercharge our search offerings and continue to delight our customers and candidates.”
